For hundreds of years, black people have dealt with criticism, racism and biases. Although slavery and segregation have ended, black people are still not given the same amount of attention and care in health care settings as their white counterparts. Black people are more likely to die or be affected by diseases than white people. Although many people believe that this is because of genetics, it is actually due to the lack of attention to those health issues. Equity In Health Care Settings focuses on the many problems that black people face in health care settings and discusses the root of the problem.

 

The goal of this project was to create an informative book that is visually appealing using only typography.
